A TEAM of daring Worcester News staff are preparing to break out of jail this summer.

However, their attempt will be all in the name of charity and the four will be joining hundreds of others from around Worcestershire and Herefordshire for the annual Jail Break event.

The Worcester News classified advertising team must find their way home from a secret location in the country without using money or maps when they take part in the event, which is on Sunday, July 27.

Dale Godliman, aged 26, Jodie Varney, 20, Chris Wyse, 22, and Alice Hobbins, 20 will be helping to raise money for the County Air Ambulance, the Alzheimer's Society, Acorns Children's Hospice in Bath Road, Worcester, and Wyvern FM Kids.

Forms for anyone who wants to organise their own jail break are available at www.wyvernfm.co.uk
