Time is running out to enter contest
TIME is rapidly running out for women to enter a competition to be crowned Miss Worcester 2008.
The closing date for entries into the competition that will give contestants the chance to represent the city in the prestigious Miss England contest, and even stand a shot at becoming Miss World, is on Friday.
These girls are the latest entrants into the competition that is getting bigger by the day.
This year we are accepting applications from anyone unmarried and aged between 17 and 24 who lives in a postcode area starting WR.
The closing date for applications to be received is Friday and once that has passed Worcester News readers will have the chance to pick their favourite.
Voting starts at the beginning of next month and the top 10 girls who receive the most votes will then be announced.
Your Worcester News has once again teamed up with Worcester Racecourse to bring the competition to the city and the finalists will take part in a gala event at Pitchcroft where they will have to impress a panel of special judges on Thursday, May 22.
When entering please remember to include a list of achievements, talents and ambitions, along with pictures, your age, and all of the other details asked for on this page.
