A WILDLIFE Trust is inviting families to visit its farm to help celebrate spring.

Visitors will be able to see behind the scenes of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust's Lower Smite Farm, near Droitwich.

The event will be held on Sunday, March 30, between 2pm and 5pm.

Debs Bull, education officer for the trust, said: "We will have guided farm tours to see the crops growing and the trees and new hedges coming into leaf. Special guests will be calves and lambs visiting from our neighbouring farm.

"You can see old-fashioned farming tools and meet historical characters who will be setting up home for the afternoon in our centuries old granary."

Families can enjoy plenty of craft activities and explore the wildlife around the farm before stopping for a cream tea in the converted stable building. There will be a number of local stalls and displays to visit, too.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.

The farm is signposted from the A4538 Pershore Lane.
