Will you vote for Tyler?

| MODEL MATERIAL: Tyler Smith, 15 |
A YOUNG beauty from Worcester has asked city people to help her achieve her dream of becoming a model by voting for her in a national competition.
Tyler Smith, aged 15, has entered a beauty pageant, called Teen Queen UK, and has already beaten off competition to become one of 50 current finalists.
Each month people vote for their favourite contestant in the competition and over a period of time the entrants are whittled down to five for each category. It is then that the judges pick the top two from each to go through to the final.
Tyler, of Baynham Drive, Spetchley, near Worcester, has asked people to support her by continuing to vote for her.
Her mother Leandra Smith said: "She went to a fashion show in Birmingham and someone came up and said she should enter.
"She had a photo shoot in London and is now in the last 50. She's the only Worcester girl in the competition."
Tyler, a pupil at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College, said: "I thought I might as well see how far I go. I want to be a model when I'm older and I've loved it ever since I was little.
"I really want modelling to be my career."
Anyone who wants to vote for Tyler can do so by texting Tyler Smith to 84205 or calling 0901 656 1515 and voting for number 50 - which is Tyler's number in the competition.

My daughter goes to school with this young lady, and was at the school trip to the fashion show in Birmingham when Tyler was asked to enter.
So as she's in my daughters class, she's 15.
My daughter tells me she is a lovely girl, in the middle to top stream, so no bimbo.
Why the nasty comments ?
I'll vote for you Tyler, good luck young lady.

My daughter also went to this fashion show and apparently all the teen aged girls who attended were "invited" to enter this competition
Has anyone visited the website? There are girls of 13 & 14 who have no votes - how are they going to feel about that? public humiliation or what!
and the girls with the most votes are under 16 - doesnt that strike anyone as a bit sleazy?

My daughter wasn't asked to enter.
I also don't find it sleazy, in fact I hadn't even considered it, so perhaps you think differently to me.
